To add a promotional code to your order, simply enter the code during the checkout process in the designated discount code field and click apply.

Please note that only one promotional code may be redeemed per order. Promotional codes may not be applied to gift cards, product bundles, and subscriptions.

Packages are sometimes marked as delivered before they actually arrive. Typically, the package arrives within 1-2 business days.

To redeem a digital gift card simply enter the gift card number during the checkout process in the designated gift card field and click apply.

We will send an order confirmation email as soon as we receive your order. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipment notification email with tracking information.

All samples are paired to accompany your chosen product and are not eligible for individual selection or substitution.

  • Complimentary samples are paired to accompany your chosen product. You will receive one sample per product purchased.
  • All samples are not subject to individual selection or substitution.
  • Samples are not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Multiple quantities of the same sample are not permitted. If you purchase multiple of one product you will only receive 1 complimentary sample.
  • Samples are available while supplies last.
  • Product samples are only shipped with purchases and are not offered for individual purchase.
  • Due to limited availability, we are unable to reship product samples if they arrive damaged or are missing from your order.

We currently offer free standard shipping on all orders $60+, with the exception of shipments to Alaska or Hawaii.

Please note that orders shipping to Alaska or Hawaii are only eligible for expedited shipping options. Ground shipping is not available for these locations. For more information on our shipping policies, including expedited shipping charges, please visit our shipping page.

In addition to standard shipping, we offer two expedited shipping options at an additional charge. You can select:

  • Second Day Expedited Shipping: $15
  • Overnight Expedited Shipping: $25


Please note that expedited shipping options refer to the transit time after the package has left our warehouse. A standard 1-2 business day processing time still applies. Expedited shipping is not available for orders shipping to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO addresses.

All orders are shipped via FedEx, we are unable to accommodate requests to ship with other carriers.

We currently ship to all 50 states within the United States, including P.O. boxes and APO/FPO addresses.

At this time we only ship within the United States and are unable to ship orders internationally. We apologize for any inconvenience!

Yes, we ship to Alaska and Hawaii. Please note that orders shipping to states are not eligible for free shipping and may only ship via Second Day Expedited Shipping. Ground and Overnight Expedited Shipping are not available.

returns + refunds

We want you to love your MATTER OF FACT purchase, but we understand that sometimes things just don't work out as expected.

If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, you can request a return within 45 days of your purchase.

To start a return, simply email us at support@matteroffact.com. Our team will provide you with a return authorization and mailing information.

Digital gift cards and items marked as final sale are not eligible for return. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Complimentary product samples are not eligible for return or exchange.

Products purchased from one of our authorized retailers must be returned to the retailer directly. We are unable to process returns for these products.

Refunds will be credited back to your original form of payment. Funds should appear within 3-7 business days depending on your financial institution.

In the event that your original payment method is no longer valid, we will issue a refund in the form of a digital store credit.

All MATTER OF FACT products are formulated and manufactured in the USA.

We have recently changed the name and packaging of some of our products to align with the brand's new packaging and naming approach. These updates help you easily navigate the line of products to best suit your skincare needs.

Our BRIGHTENING + FIRMING SERUM (formerly Ascorbic Acid 20) and MINIMALIST HYDRATING MOISTURIZER (formerly Minimalist Hydrating Cream) are the same formulas you love, just with new names and packaging.

Our products can be used while pregnant or breastfeeding, with the exception of WRINKLE + TEXTURE CONCENTRATE and RESURFACING + HYDRATING SERUM.

However, we suggest that you always consult with your physician for direction on what’s safe for you and your baby.

Our products are ideally stored in an environment at room temperature, away from excessive heat and humidity.

Our subscription program allows you to easily replenish your MATTER OF FACT products and enjoy an exclusive 10% discount on each subscription order.

Choose your product and the frequency that works for you - then let us handle the rest.

You are able to make changes, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time.

Setting up a subscription is simple! Select the product you would like to subscribe to and add it to cart, in the cart select "upgrade to subscription & save 10%", choose your desired frequency, and checkout.

All MATTER OF FACT products are available for subscription, excluding product bundles and digital gift cards.

Subscription orders are shipped using our standard shipping partners, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once the order leaves our warehouse.

Please note that we are unable to offer expedited shipping and cannot schedule delivery dates for all subscription orders.

Yes, you can make updates by logging into your account and selecting My Subscriptions. From there select Products in my Subscription and then Edit. You have the ability to remove or swap products to fit your needs.

Yes, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your subscription order leaves our warehouse.

Your subscription order will be sent out depending on the frequency that you choose.

You can edit your payment information by logging into your account and selecting My Subscriptions. From there select Payment Information and then Edit.

You can change your delivery address by logging into your account and selecting My Subscriptions. From there select Address and Shipping Information and then Edit.

Please note that the address will be updated for all future subscription orders. We are unable to make any changes to addresses after an order has been processed.

You can cancel your subscription by logging into your account and selecting My Subscriptions. From there select Cancel Subscription and then Edit.

Yes, you can pause your subscription by logging into your account and selecting My Subscriptions. From there select Manage Upcoming Orders, you will have the option to pause all future orders or skip your next subscription order.

Unfortunately, products cannot be added to an existing subscription. If you are interested in subscribing to additional products please follow the steps to setup a new subscription.

Our product subscriptions offer the benefit of a 10% discount. We are unable to combine this discount with any additional promotional codes or offers.

Yes, prior to the order shipping you can easily cancel an upcoming order. Log into your account and select My Subscriptions. From there select Manage Upcoming Orders, you will have the option to cancel your upcoming subscription order.

If your order has already shipped please reach out to us at support@matteroffact.com. We will do our best to accommodate the request but cannot guarantee any changes or cancellations after the order has been processed.

Yes, we will send a reminder email 5 days before your scheduled ship date. We recommend adding MATTER OF FACT to your safe list to ensure emails are not sent to your spam folder.

You can also view your scheduled orders by logging into your account and selecting My Subscriptions.

We happily accept returns within 45 days of your purchase.

To start a return, simply email us at support@matteroffact.com. Our team will provide you with a return authorization and mailing information.

Please note that your subscription will still remain active after returning the product. If you would like to cancel your subscription you can do so by logging into your account or requesting a cancellation with our team.

Your preferred payment method will be charged automatically for each subscription order. If you need to change or update your payment method you can do so by logging into your account and selecting My Subscriptions. From there select Payment Information and then Edit.
